From the North or South.
Leave the M6 at J40. Take the A66 EAST away from the Lake District. In a mile or so you reach a roundabout, take the fourth exit (3 o'clock)
From the East.
From the West.
All routes then follow:-
After leaving the A66 follow the A6 south over the Bridge (beware traffic lights) in a few hundred yards there is a mini roundabout. Turn RIGHT here. The road continues for about a mile to Yanwath. There is then a LEFT turn which you need to take. In a hundred yards there is an entrance to a private road on the left, sign posted Glendowlin Valley. Turn onto this road and follow it for 400 yards. When you see the lodges on your right, follow the road round to the right and AMBER NOOK is the fourth lodge.
